Achievements. Every year more than ten educational programs of the university become laureates of the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia contest. NNSUACE has one of Russia’s leading architecture schools. The works of NNSUACE architecture students become leaders in most categories at annual international review contests.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by more than 100 highly qualified teachers. More than 70% hold academic degrees of Candidate or Doctor of Sciences and are members of the Union of Architects of Russia, and around 50% of teachers have many years’ practical experience.
Facilities and resources. State-of-the-art laboratory equipment and modern software, cutting-edge educational technologies.
Education. Teachers use innovative educational technologies such as original courses of Russia’s leading architects, partner universities’ electives that are included in the educational program, video lectures, course and graduation projects based on real cases, advanced training and professional retraining programs offered on favorable terms for students, including professional English and French language courses.
Research. The scientists conduct basic research in ten research areas, take part in all-Russian and international conferences, review contests and creative exhibitions. NNSUACE has the Architectural Workshop that implements the most complex projects for Nizhny Novgorod and the region involving students. Students participate in the project “Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment.”
Strategic partners. The university has strategic partnership and cooperation agreements with universities in Russia, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, China, and other countries as well as major enterprises and organizations in the region.
