Awards and achievements. Membership in the Association of Green Universities of Russia, participation in the regional ecology project “EcoActive – Development in Action,” the Volunteer of the Year contest, regional and city environmental campaigns and events,
establishment of the Environmental Volunteering League “The Wind of Change,” organization and holding of the regional Ecology Olympiad “Environmental Intellectual.”
Admission requirements for foreign citizens. Foreign citizens can apply to SSUGT on equal terms with Russian citizens. The university has the International Center for Education. The information for international applicants is available at sgugit.ru/en.
Education. Practice-oriented training is provided and projects are implemented in the educational process. Students participate in research projects. State-of-the-art GIS technologies and specialized software products are used.
Scholarships and grants. Students get government-funded scholarships.
Competitive advantages. Students undertake educational internships at the SSUGT range. Work placements are undertaken at the top enterprises and research institutions in the city and Russia. The university develops the continuing postgraduate education system and delivers continuing professional education programs.
