Achievements. Every year students of the faculty take an active part in competitive scholarship programs. Among students of academic year 2020-2022 are the holder of the scholarship from the President of the Tatarstan Republic, winners of the contest held by the Federal Treasury Department for the RT and subdivisions of the Federal Tax Service of the RF. Our graduates hold top executive positions both at government entities and commercial organizations in the republic and in Russia.
Teaching staff is not only highly qualified, but also has rather good research performance indicators and required work experience in different economic sectors. More than 87% of teachers hold academic degrees and titles. The heads of banking and finance companies, economic planning departments, accounting, audit and tax companies, with more than ten years’ work experience, take an active part in developing and delivering the educational programs.
Facilities and resources. All students have continuous access to the electronic library systems www.iprbooks.ru and www.urait.ru, the Consultant Plus and Garant legal information systems and electronic textbooks in ISU VUZ—the learning process management system which is an exclusive development of the University of Management “TISBI.” The learning environment comprises a specialized licensed software package that allows students to simulate the business processes of a virtual economic agent and analyze its activity. Students have access to the electronic system “Chief Accountant: Check of Contractors.” During practical classes, students regularly use Internet services of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, Consultant, My judge, Justice, and the Federal Tax Service account services, Accounting in SBIS.
Education. The balance of theory and practice is an advantage of economists training. Teachers use innovative educational technologies such as case studies, interactive classes in small research teams, workshops and business role plays that help students immerse themselves in the near-real working environment of an economic agent, a commercial bank, or a tax office. Digital and information technologies are in active use. The faculty students are engaged in projects and business planning with enthusiasm. Students undertake internships to develop primary abilities and skills in the Laboratory of Simulation Modeling using the computer simulation business game “BUSINESS COURSE: Corporation Plus” and the management system “1С:Enterprise 8.2.” Graduates can pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at the University of Management “TISBI.”

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Treasury Department for the RT, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RT, the Federal Tax Service Directorate for the RT, Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for Major Taxpayers № 4, Sberbank of Russia, AK BARS Bank, the Commercial Bank of Economic Development “The Bank of Kazan,” Promsvyazbank, Rosbank, Alfa Bank, and a number of major enterprises in the RT.
