Accreditation. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020.
Awards and achievements. Students are prize-winners of the professional skill championship according to WorldSkills Russia standards, the All-Russian Student Olympiad on Project Management “Quazar,” the Case Championship Case Room “Grani.” In 2019-2023, the degree-granting department staff implemented two RFBR grants and the research project supported by the Council for Grants of the President of the Russian Federation.
Teaching staff. The teaching staff of the Department of Management and the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Industry includes 34 people, including eight Professors and 22 Associate Professors. The academic degree holders ratio is 90%. Honored Workers of the RF, laureates of the Russian Government Award in Education, and employees of service companies and organizations are engaged in the program delivery.
Facilities and resources. Classrooms are fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and computer technology ensuring access to electronic library systems. The university has seven gyms, a swimming pool, and five dormitories.
Education. Teachers use interactive teaching methods such as master classes, business workshops, business simulations and games, web quests, including those using Kahoot and Miro educational platforms allowing students develop digital skills sought after in the job market. Students undertake study placements under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program.
Research. The achievements of the scientific school “Current Issues in Theory and Practice of Corporate Management” and the Research and Education Center of Innovative Technologies in Management are introduced in the learning process. The teachers are actively engaged in research and take part in the grant competitions of the Russian President, the Russian Science Foundation, and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research every year.
Competitive advantages. Highly qualified teaching staff, a new educational building with state-of-the-art training equipment, practice-oriented training ensuring the development of competencies in business administration and management, marketing analytics, big data and artificial intelligence management, sought-after majors, the system of continuing management education.
Employers and employment. Graduates are successfully employed by enterprises and organizations of various sectors of the economy such as Arnest, Monocrystal, Avtomobilist, Concern Energomera, Apex, the Marketing Initiatives Center, the Stavropol Territory Government, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory, Park Hotel Stavropol, Izba, METROPOL ASSET MANAGEMENT, Molniya Yamal, Continent, Family Kitchen Restaurant Group, the non-commercial organization "Association of Resorts and Tourism of the Stavropol Territory," and others.
