Achievements and awards. The program underwent state accreditation in 2020.
In 2017-2019 the staff projects frequently received grant support from the RFBR, the Russian Military Historical Society, and other organizations.
In 2017 - 2019 the teachers published 19 articles in the journals indexed in international systems Web of Science and Scopus, and over 50 articles in journals included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals recommended by the State Commission of Academic Degrees and Titles.
The faculty members are frequently awarded diplomas, medals and letters of appreciation at territorial and federal levels.
Teaching staff consists of 26 highly qualified teachers including 11 Doctors of Sciences and 15 Candidates of Sciences. All teachers have academic degrees.
The current heads and employees of organizations – directors and leading teachers of general education institutions of Stavropol and the Stavropol Territory are engaged as teachers and supervisors of teaching internships.
Facilities and resources. The most advanced equipment (a multimedia projector, a screen, a PC with internet access) improves the quality of education and is the most important tool for effective management of students' innovative and creative activities.
Research areas: The Caucasus in Russian History; New Cultural and Intellectual History of Russian Province. The student scientific and innovative association CLIO is aimed at improving the quality of training highly qualified specialists in history.
Education. To improve the quality of education, the teachers use a combination of up-to-date education models such as a traditional model, a rationalistic model, and a student-centered model with application of innovative technologies.
Strategic partners. Major research and education centers: Institute of World History of the RAS, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the RF, Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov, Abkhazian Institute of Humanitarian Studies named after D.I. Gulia of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, the Heraldic Commission under the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, G. N. Prozritelev and G. K. Prave Stavropol State Historical, Cultural and Natural-Landscape Museum-Reserve, the expo center “Russia is my History,” the Russia Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society.
