During the first three years, students pursue basic subjects. Practical training is provided starting from the first year, which is a substantial advantage of CHSMA.

Starting from the fourth year, students begin studying clinical subjects at healthcare facilities, including the ChSMA clinic, where students have a unique opportunity for practical interaction with patients.

After completing their Doctor’s degrees, graduates can pursue residency programs at the Academy in one of 51 fields of medicine.

The Academy carries out international cooperation by conducting classes for students from the partner universities. Students and staff members of the Academy also participate in academic mobility programs, cultural exchange of student delegations, and joint research.

Extracurricular activities

The Academy has a great number of dance clubs and bands, volunteer teams, and a drama school.

Sport is another area of the extracurricular life for medical students. The Academy has different sports facilities for such games as basketball, volleyball, football and track and field clubs, and a cheerleading team.

The Academy holds various concerts, the New Year dancing party, and the Ethnic Culture Festival. This event helps develop a tolerant attitude and respect in people from different cultures towards one another, preserve originality, and accept the religious and cultural identity of each student.
