In 2025, Bunin Yelets State University implemented the project "Cultural and Educational Media Project for International Students ”Zanimatel’no o RUSS.com" (Russian with Fun). It won the All-Russian Youth Project Competition “Rosmolodezh. Grants” in 2024.
The project's strategic goal was to assist international students in adapting, socializing, and mastering the Russian language using state-of-the-art multimedia technologies. The project’s uniqueness lay in the creation of unique study content containing everyday communication cases from the life of a Bunin YelSU student and a resident of the Lipetsk Region in general.
The project included ten educational videocasts (clck.ru/3TSrn8) which helped students prepare for the Russian language oral exam and review the most relevant and difficult grammar rules.
A calendar with daily assignments helped students develop a healthy habit of self-improvement and learning the language on a daily basis.
A longread guide to the Lipetsk Region and the city of Yelets (clck.ru/3TSrph) allowed students to explore the city's sights and history without leaving the city and test their knowledge after reading.
The project enhanced the reputation of the university as a study destination for talented young people striving to foster intercultural dialogue.
