MGSU is a leading Russian university for civil engineering with century-old traditions of teaching and research. It is a participant of the Priority 2030 Federal Academic Leadership Program.

The university is in charge of the Educational and Methodological Association of Civil Engineering Universities of the Russian Federation as well as the International Public Organization of Assistance to Construction Education (ASV).

Adaptation

Knut Hartenstein, Germany

Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Mechatronics, Electronics and Information Technologies of Berlin University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics. In 1970-1975, he studied at MISI named after Valerian V. Kuibyshev at the Faculty of Automated Control Systems where he majored in Automation of Construction Machines. He graduated with honors. In 1980, he completed his PhD studies at MISI named after Valerian V. Kuibyshev and earned an academic degree of Candidate of Engineering Sciences.
