Awards and achievements. In February 2013, the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of RosNOU became a laureate of the Silver Archer National Award in the field of development of public relations. In April 2017 and 2019, the department was included in
Top 10 best departments, the laureates of the sectoral study “The Ranking of Russian HEIs’ Departments that Train Specialists in the Field of Advertising” conducted by the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR).
Teaching staff. Sixty-three per cent of the teachers of the Advertising and Public Relations Department hold academic degrees and titles, and 60% of the teachers are practitioners. Interactive teaching methods including workshops, role plays and business games are
widely used in the learning process. The representatives of leading advertising, branding and PR agencies, mass media give master classes. The employers, who are members of the State Examination Board, highly value graduates’ knowledge: systematicity in education, a general outlook on the profession, an understanding of the profession as a comprehensive area of activity with unique characteristics.
Education. The Department of Advertising and Public Relations provides students with a great number of practical training facilities. It has concluded agreements with advertising and PR agencies, departments of advertising and public relations of various organizations.
Students can acquire the necessary skills without interrupting their studies at the Division of Information Management of RosNOU, at the Division of Advertising and Marketing of RosNOU, and other subdivisions of the university.

Assistance and support for international students and teachers. International students are supported by the RosNOU’s Directorate for International Affairs and Protocol: it processes the documents required for receiving an invitation to study, a multi-entry visa; carries out the migration registration procedure when the documents determined by the Federal Law “Concerning the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation” are submitted.
