Awards and achievements. Over 10 educational programs become laureates of the Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia annual contest. The Ecology and Elimination of Environmental Damage research area is one of the key specializations at the Centre for Science and Education of Nizhny Novgorod Region "Tekhnoplatforma 2035."
Teaching staff. The educational process is carried out by over 50 highly qualified teachers. Over 60% are scientific degree holders, about 20% are teachers with many years of practical experience in the field.
Facilities and resources. Modern laboratory equipment and software, as well as state-of-the-art educational technologies, are used in the educational process.
Research. Over 10 research programs function at the University's Faculty of Environmental Engineering Systems and Structures. The scientists of the University carry out fundamental research works, take part in all-Russian and international conferences and seminars.
Education. Innovative educational technologies are used: a captivating practice-oriented educational program, video lectures, programs of professional development and retraining offered on favorable conditions for students, including professional foreign language courses. Laboratories and computer classes fitted with professional equipment which allows to carry out research are available to the students.
Strategic partners. The University has strategic partnership and cooperation contracts with universities of Russia, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, China, and other countries, as well as major enterprises and companies of the city.
International projects and programs. The students have practice and internship (including long-term programs) at the universities of Italy, China, France.
