Achievements and awards. The university was the first among private HEIs in Russia to undergo professional-public international accreditation in the field of economics, and its educational programs were certified as compliant with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-ENQA).

In 2016 the Economics Faculty took part in the All-Russian contest "I Study to Find a Job!" organized by the Agency for Professional-Public Accreditation and Independent Evaluation and the organization of small and medium business "OPORA RUSSIA" and became the winner in the For Fruitful Cooperation with Graduates category.

Teaching staff. The teachers involved in the Economics program delivery are highly qualified and have rather good research performance indicators and required work experience in economics. The faculty employs nine Doctors and 26 Candidates of Economic Sciences.

Facilities and resources. All students have continuous access to the electronic library system www.iprbooks.ru and electronic content of academic disciplines in the integrated university management system. The area of strength in the main educational program implementation is wide use of business games, case study, interactive classes in small research groups, computer business games.

Education. Bachelor students are trained in the following majors: Accounting, Analysis and Audit; Tax and Taxation; Banking and Finance; Economics and Logistics at the Enterprise. Organizational and managerial skills are developed through computer simulation games "BUSINESS COURSE: Corporation Plus" and "BUSINESS COURSE: Maximum." Business processes in a modern organization are drilled in business role plays (through the example of a commercial bank, a tax office, etc.). Students have an opportunity to get a five-month parallel education course at the Department of Banking of Sberbank of Russia, work with practicing professionals according to the special program. Professional skills and abilities are sharpened during work placement at the two specialized departments at Tatfondbank and at the Ak Bars Med insurance company.

The university cooperates with the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Directorate for Tax Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, district and interdistrict tax offices of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan, the Pension Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatfondbank Joint-Stock Investment Commercial Bank, Sberbank of Russia, the Ak Bars Bank, the Spurt Joint-Stock Commercial Bank, and the Ak Bars Med insurance company.
