Achievements and awards.StateUniversity of Humanities and Social Studies is ranked among "The Best Universities of Russia" and is listed on the National Register "Leading Educational Institutions of Russia."

Teaching staff. Over 90% of faculty members hold postgraduate academic degrees and titles. Nearly all teachers of the degree-granting Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication have international certificates of Common Reference, Levels C1-C2.

Facilities and resources. Classrooms are fully equipped with the state-of-the-art multimedia equipment. There are computer classrooms, a language laboratory, and a room for course projects. A self-access center, areas for individual and group consultations, a reading hall and the library media room offer opportunities for autonomous learning.

Research. The university develops a close relationship between basic science, education and the professional environment of future graduates, continuous improvement of the teaching and educational process based on basic and applied research, and introduces innovative methods and pedagogical technologies into educational activities. The university actively participates in social and economic development of Moscow Region.

Education. Teachers use such educational strategies as student-centered learning, blended and flipped learning, gaming simulation, role plays, project and case methods, as well as Cambridge LMS electronic educational platform. Potential employers and international specialists are also engaged in the teaching process. Students and teachers annually undertake language internships at universities and educational organizations of France, Germany, Ireland, and China.

Strategic partners. The university has an agreement on cooperation with itbFirst Language Service Provider, the top-ranking translation company in the Moscow Region, as well as leading Russian universities: LomonosovMoscowStateUniversity, MoscowStatePedagogicalUniversity, MoscowStateLinguisticUniversity in the sphere of research. Strong ties are maintained with the embassies of China, France, Japan and representation offices of international publishers.

International programs and projects. Students participate in academic mobility programs under the agreements with universities of China, France, Germany. They take part in major international events in Moscow Region and the Russian Federation as volunteer interpreters. The faculty enrolls Chinese students as part of academic exchange with Chinese universities.
