Current position in rankings. Far-East Institute of Management, the Branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), was included in Top 3 best universities of the Far East following the higher education institutions performance monitoring.

Achievements and awards. The institute has high scientific potential. Over the past decade, students of the institute won numerous regional and national contests in research such as "Student Spring," "My Lawmaking Initiative," etc.

Teaching staff. The quality of teaching is ensured by the highly qualified teaching staff, over 80% of them are Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. Some of them are awarded the title of Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation. The department staff actively participates in both Russian and international scientific conferences. Research. The teachers conduct research on the following topical subjects:

– Protection of local government's rights by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation;

– Extremist crimes in the youth environment (evidence from the Far Eastern Federal District), etc.

Education. The teachers use active and interactive teaching methods as well as a software toolkit.

Strategic partners. The institute cooperates with the Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the KhabarovskTerritory, the Office of Investigations of the Russian Investigative Committee for the KhabarovskTerritory, and other specialized organizations.

International projects and programs. The institute participates in the program "Prevention of international child abduction (application of key mechanisms of international agreements of the Russian Federation)."
