Awards and achievements. The programs are annually recognized as leaders of the project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia. The teachers participate in the project "Solving Russian National Code: Educational Paths" supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for CIS countries.

Teaching staff. The educational process is carried out by seven Doctors of Philological Sciences, as well as Candidates of Philological Sciences. Among them are members of Commission on Immigrantology of Slavic Peoples of the International Committee of Slavists, members of the editorial board of the scientific journal "Roczniki Humanistyczne" (Web of Science), laureates of a pedagogical contest "Seraphim Teacher" of Saint Seraphim Sarovskiy Foundation, honored workers of the Higher School of the Russian Federation.

Research. Understanding of integration technologies in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language, designing elective courses in Russian philology, methods of using audiovisual technologies. The students' works are published in the Axiology of Slavic Culture, and Philological Dialogue digests.

Education. The programs are aimed at training specialists, mainly international students, in the sphere of studying philological disciplines and modern technologies of teaching Russian as a foreign language who are experts in Slavic studies as well. A great deal of attention is paid to the implementation of the text-centric approach in project activity.

Strategic partners. Schools of Nizhny Novgorod, museums and libraries of the city, Moscow State Pedagogical University, universities of CIS countries: Chisinau State Pedagogical University (Moldova), Batken State University (Kyrgyzstan), universities of Poland.

International projects and programs. The students participate in international conferences, language, literature and culture study summer schools, summer schools for students from Slavic countries supported by "Russian World," "Russian-Polish Center of Dialogue and Accord."

Competitive advantages. Opportunity for the Master's degree students to have practice at the Scientific Educational Center "Axiology of Slavic Culture," as well as abroad (Poland). The Visiting Professor program is implemented.

Assistance and support for international students and teachers. The students are provided with comfortable dormitory accommodation and attend a Russian-speaking club "Glagol!."
