Awards and achievements. The program is annually recognized as the leader of the project Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia.
Teaching staff. Doctors and Candidates of Sciences with experience in practical work, among them — corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Applied Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences who implement grants from various scientific foundations and governmental tasks in the area of physics.
Facilities and resources. State-of-the-art multimedia classrooms as well as laboratories of applied mechanics, oscillation and waves, electrical engineering; electricity and magnetism; optics; mechanics; demonstrational experiment; Earth and Sun connection; millimeter radio astronomy allowing to conduct training and demonstration experiments of school physics course and research in the area of radiophysics, interaction of the solar wind with the Earth's magnetosphere, model processes of interaction of the solar wind and spacecraft.
Research. Physical phenomena in coronal mass ejections that lead to the development of magnetospheric sub-storms and magnetic storms, the relationship of the space-time dynamics of intramagnetospheric magnetohydrodynamic variations with manifestations of solar activity, the structure of a specific higher duality for strict categories, problems of solid state dynamics in inhomogeneous force fields.
Education. The innovative educational model "flipped classroom," problem and project educational technologies are used. The students actively participate in research in scientific groups under the guidance of the city's leading scientists. The educational process also includes laboratory and practical classes, practice at partner schools and lyceums.
