Achievements. In April 2020, Master’s programs in Economics of the Firm and Accounting and Taxation in Business Environment within the Economics program offered by The University of Management “TISBI” successfully underwent state accreditation.
Teaching staff is represented by Doctors and Candidates of Economic Sciences that have good research and academic methodological performance indicators. Every year the academic staff members participate in international, national and regional research and
practice conferences, have scientific papers and monographs published in the leading Russian journals.
Facilities and resources. The university library is stocked according to the regulatory requirements. All students have free access through a personal account to the university’s electronic information educational environment, curricula, steering documents for the
disciplines (modules), internships, and the electronic library systems IPRbooks and Urite. The university’s electronic information educational environment not only provides access to e-learning resources but also allows the teachers to support all kinds of Master students’ independent work, establishing interaction between the participants of the educational process.
Education. While teaching Master students, teachers widely use business games, case studies, interactive classes in small research teams; master classes and round table discussions are held with employer participation. A strategic approach to teaching allows the teachers to focus on project activities with the development of economically feasible proposals and measures. Masters in Economics are really good at making economic calculations, evaluating the success of an enterprise in terms of profitability, developing a company strategy. Most Master students majoring in Accounting and Taxation in Business Environment are employed at inspectorates of the Federal Tax Service and have access to the automated tax control system of the tax service, as well as databases. Students can undertake internships at subdivisions of the Federal Tax Service Directorate in the Republic of Tatarstan and consulting and auditing companies or commercial organizations. Thanks to aligned knowledge and practical analysis skills, obtained during Master’s studies,
graduates are successful in analytical, project and economic and research activities, which allows them to pursue PhD degrees in Business Economics or at foreign partner universities in the Czech Republic, Finland, China, and the USA.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RT, Federal Passenger Company, Russian Railways JSC, the TatChemProduct research and production company, Vamin Tatarstan, TAIF-NK AZS, Biryuli, Polistrom Firm, Audit Expert, Double Gis, and others.
