Awards and achievements. Professional-public accreditation certificate of December 11, 2017, the Association of Geological Organizations.

Teaching staff of the Department of Geodesy and Cadastral Activity consists of 16 Candidates of Sciences, two Doctors of Sciences, and one senior research fellow.

Facilities and resources. Financial and technical foundation that provides for all kinds of specialized and interdisciplinary training, practical and research work of the students.

Research.  Effective management of land resources of specially protected natural territories of the Ural Federal District. Scientific basis for creating a regional system for monitoring and managing the development of urbanized territories (on the example of a complex subject of the Russian Federation — the Tyumen Region).

Education.  The students' professional activity field: land and property relations, the system of land resources and real estate objects management, the organization of the territory of land use, forecasting, planning and design of land use, rational use and protection of land, records, cadastral valuation and registration of real estate objects, topographic, geodetic and cartographic support of land management and cadastres, positioning of real estate objects, cadastral surveys, formation of cadastral information systems, land surveying and formation of other real estate objects, law enforcement activities to establish ownership rights and control the use of land plots and other real estate objects, inventory of real estate objects, monitoring of land and other real estate, taxation of real estate objects, real estate, valuation and consulting activities in the field of land and property complex.

Strategic partners. Local self-government bodies of the Tyumen region, state authorities in the field of cadastre, land and property relations and urban planning.

International projects and programs. Participation in roundtable discussions, workshops, joint conferences.

Competitive advantages. The program is the only one in the area of urban planning, land and property relations in the Tyumen region. The graduates are extremely valued at the state and municipal service, as well as at private companies.
