Achievements. Implementation of Novosibirsk Mayor's Office grants and introduction of scientific developments into land resource management in Novosibirsk as well as into the learning process. Participation in the research funded by the Novosibirsk Region Government. Students win contests and Olympiads.

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 59 teachers. Over 65% have academic degrees.

Facilities and resources. There are two learning and research laboratories, one research and production laboratory, and the research technology park.

Research. SSUGT has four research institutes, 17 scientific schools, and over 40 research and research and education laboratories and centers. The institute conducts research in the improvement of methodological and technological solutions in land management, land and property relations regulation, and cadastral activity.

International projects and programs. Every year teachers and students participate in exhibitions and scientific congresses such as Interexpo GEO-Siberia, InterGeo, FarEastCon, InterCarto. InterGIS, City Technologies, and many others.

Competitive advantages. Practical training facilities include training ranges. The university has state-of-the-art equipment, including personal computers, digital geodetic devices, unmanned aerial vehicles, modern software.

The university develops the continuing postgraduate education system, delivers CPE programs.

Graduates can work at land and property relations organizations (the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, the Federal Cadastral Chamber of the Russian State Register, the Department of Property and Land Relations of the Novosibirsk Region, the Department of Land and Property Relations of the Novosibirsk Mayor's Office, Geocity, GeoPlan plus, the Geograd Engineering and Cadastre Center, Novosibirsk Engineering Center, West Siberian Research and Design Institute of Land Use Planning, Altaigeoproekt, YuzhURAL TISId survey firm, etc.) in the Siberian Federal District, East Siberia, Far East, the Crimea, Sochi, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, as well as industry research centers and RAS institutes.

Education. Teachers use project and research teaching methods, teamwork, innovative assessment systems. Students take part in business games, contests, Olympiads, hackathons.
