At the International Coworking Center of Far Eastern State Transport University, Rector Vladimir Burovtsev met with the delegation from Dalian University (China). The meeting was dedicated to the development of table tennis in Khabarovsk in general and at FESTU in particular. It was Valery Savin, President of the Table Tennis Association of the Far Eastern Federal District, who suggested that guests from China should cooperate with FESTU.
During the meeting, participants discussed joint projects to train tennis players at the new Table Tennis Academy that will be established at FESTU soon in close cooperation with the Khabarovsk Regional Table Tennis Federation. They also agreed upon the exchange of students for participation in sports events.
Moreover, academic exchange opportunities for students of the two universities were discussed during the meeting. In particular, the guests from China took interest in FESTU’s programs in economics, informatics, tourism, international relations as well as the new English-taught Master’s program in Transportation and Logistics Management with specializations in Technology of Transport Processes and Service that will be launched at the Russian university in 2026.
