Errahel Nazih from Morocco, senior lecturer at the Baikal School of BRICS of Irkutsk National Research Technical University
I chose to study at INRTU because the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science program was taught in English and had an international format. When I applied, the university was enrolling students in this program for the first time, and it was important for me to be part of a new educational project bringing together students from different countries.
I took an interest in digital technologies when I was at school. I actively interacted with the computer environment and was interested in networks, security, and the potential of the internet. This developed gradually into a conscious choice of a career in artificial intelligence and computer science. Now I am completing my Master's degree in Digital Technologies, Networks and Big Data.
In addition to my studies, I work as a senior lecturer at the Baikal School of BRICS. I started my career as a programmer, then I became an assistant, and today I teach courses in computer vision and artificial intelligence implementation. I focus on practice-oriented learning and developing students' engineering thinking.
In 2026/2027, I plan to continue my research by pursuing a PhD degree in Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods, and Software Systems to develop international projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
