Awards and achievements of the educational program. The Operation of Airports and Aircraft Flight Support training program allows the university to implement a wide range of innovative educational Bachelor’s programs in accordance with the international standard requirements and recommended practice of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Teaching staff. Most teachers are qualified to implement the program and have degrees and titles in related sciences. University partners within the educational program. Alumni are successfully employed at air service providers such as the Vnukovo Airport, Vnukovo International Airport, the Aeroflot airline, Rossiya Airlines, and others.
Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Students participate in the annual scientific research and practical conference of students, postgraduate students and young scientists dedicated to the memory of the aircraft and helicopter designer Igor Sikorsky which is held at the university.
The Department of Airports and Air Transport set up and runs the Aviator circle and the Sky and Ground professional development club.
Students are participants and winners of various scientific conferences, contests, and olympiads such as the All-Russian review contest of graduation theses (graduation projects), the Young Scientists of the Transport Sector contest (Moscow, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation), the Transportation Support of the Arctic Zone youth educational conference, The Arctic: Present and Future sixth international forum, and others.
Facilities and resources. To successfully implement the educational program the university has the latest facilities and necessary resources including laboratories, computer classrooms and curriculum offices. We also use airports and airlines laboratories and facilities to do research and for practical students training. There is a training and sports base where students do various sports.
Opportunities for students. The university effectively works with air service providers to ensure students’ work placement at production sites of airports such as the Anapa Airport, Krasnodar International Airport, Sochi International Airport, Omsk International Airport, and others.
Employment prospects. Graduates get qualification of a Specialist (engineer, manager, supervisor, agent, controller) at the following service divisions of airports and airlines: aviation security support, radio technical flight support, airfield flight support, ground handling operations, coordination and dispatch center.
