Awards and achievements of the educational program. The university was the first among private HEIs in Russia to undergo professional-public international accreditation in
Teaching staff. The teachers involved in the program delivery are highly qualified with good research indicators. There are eight Doctors of Sciences, Professors, 36 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors and five Senior Teachers.
University partners within the educational program. Students complete part of their program at the Sberbank Corporate University (Kazan Branch). In 2015 the university signed an agreement on cooperation with the Ak Bars Med insurance company and established an external department there. The university partners include the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Directorate for Tax Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, regional and interregional tax inspection offices of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan, the Pension Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sberbank of Russia, the Ak Bars Bank, the Specialized Registrar holder of the Gas Industry Shareholder Register (Kazan Branch), Kazan Open University of Talents 2.0, and others.
Students’ and alumni’s achievements. Students enrolled in the program win in different contests and olympiads, get scholarships awarded by the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Mayor of Kazan. Students won all-Russian traders’ contest organized by the Regional Youth Public Organization Youth Center for the Study of Financial Operations, St. Petersburg Stock Market, and some others. Thirty percent of alumni hold top managerial positions in investment companies, banks, and industrial enterprises.
Facilities and resources. The university occupies a building in the center of Kazan. It has properly equipped computer classrooms, a library, a reading hall, a gym, an assembly hall, catering facilities and a dancing school.
Opportunities for students. Students benefit from concurrent education and practical training sessions hosted by partner organizations. They are actively involved in the X-Culture Global Collaboration Course, an international online project, attend different workshops. Upon the program completion students can pursue their Master’s and postgraduate degrees at TISBI or partner universities in the Czech Republic, Finland, China. Ninety percent of students enrolled in the Master’s program combine studies and employment.
Employment prospects. Auditor, bank employee, accountant, tax inspector, risk manager, specialist for corporate finances, specialist for the development of new financial products, financial analyst, economist, underwriter, securities portfolio manager.
