Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. In 2019 and 2020, the department won four grants from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research ("Russia, Europe, Asia: Digitalization of the Global Space," "Theoretical and Methodological Background to the Development of Financial Controlling Model in the Context of Digital Economy», "Mathematical Modeling of Structural Stability and Macroeconomic Dynamics," "Methodology of Detection and Overcoming of Institutional Traps in the Context of Digitalization of the Russian Economy"). The 3rd International Research and Practice Forum " Russia, Europe, Asia: Digitalization of the Global Space" took place. In 2018 the department was financially supported by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ program.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 26 teachers. Over 20% have an academic degree of Doctor of Sciences.
Research. The research area is Mathematical and Instrumental Methods of Economics. Teachers and students take an active part in seminars and conferences at different levels.
Education. The department trains specialists taking into account modern digital competencies in business analytics. Bachelors are in high demand as business analysts, Web analysts, IT specialists, IT project managers, online marketing specialists, SMM and SEO specialists, 1С programmers. The content of some disciplines is developed by agreement with the partners (SKB Kontur, Business IT). Students have the right to choose individual learning paths taking into account specific features of two majors: Information Business Analytics and Electronic Business.
Strategic partners. Business IT Company Group, Partner Plus, SKB Kontur. Foreign partner universities: the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), the University of Lisbon (Portugal), the University of Piraeus (Greece), L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan).
International projects and programs. Jean Monnet project as part of the Erasmus+ program "Digital Economy and eEducation: The European Experience."
Competitive advantages. Students undertake internships at companies such as Stilsoft, Business IT, SKB Kontur, etc. Graduates are sought after by government authorities at different levels, software companies, marketing, manufacturing, economic departments of organizations of different forms of incorporation.
Assistance and support for international students and teachers. The university has an English-language version of the website (http://eng.ncfu.ru/), the International Activity section. International students are accommodated in the comfortable dormitory.
