Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. Students are members of research groups implementing grants from the Russian President and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, annual holders of scholarships of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation. NCFU holds the annual international research conference for students and young researchers "Young Economists for the Future of Russia" and the research and practical conference "University Science for the Region."

Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 55 teachers, over 20% have an academic degree of Doctor of Sciences. Researchers from foreign universities such as the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Trento (Italy), the University of Lisbon (Portugal) are engaged in the teaching process.

Facilities and resources. The institute has specialized multimedia learning laboratories with state-of-the-art software as well as learning laboratories such as Social Entrepreneurship Incubator, Mini-Bank, Mini-Exchange.

Research. The Institute has three scientific schools and develops one research area. Researchers present their achievements at international research conferences, take part in developing modern learning technologies and implement grants at different levels.  International research laboratories: "Project management, innovative, strategic and marketing research in Russian and international business environment," "Digital economy competency center," the international laboratory for modern technologies of human capital development.

Education. Teachers use state-of-the-art educational technologies: business and situational games, case methods, workshops, and apply an innovative approach based on a combination of applied economic disciplines with basic and special courses.

Strategic partners. The Institute's partners are Stavropol Dairy Plant, NPK Eskom, VTB 24, the Ministry of Finance, etc.

International projects and programs. As part of the European Union's TEMPUS program, TEMPUS NCFU has implemented three major projects in a consortium with European and Russian partner universities.

Competitive advantages. A practice-oriented approach to the learning process management and focus on modern integrated teaching methods and aids, cooperation with government authorities and major regional enterprises.

Assistance and support for international students and teachers. NCFU has the Department of Pre-University Training for Foreign Citizens that aims to provide the most requested assistance to international students.
