Accreditation. State accreditation (2018).
Awards and achievements. A high level of institute graduates’ competence has often been highly appreciated by the Ministry of Culture of the RF, the Union of Designers, and the Union of Architects of Russia. The institute receives letters of appreciation from the President of the Union of Architects of Saint Petersburg, Director General of the Koltushi Construction Company, Director General of the Architectural Systems company, Executive Director of the North-Western Logistics Company. Every year students become prize-winners of all-Russian and international contests and conferences.
Teaching staff. Specialists are trained by Professors and Associate Professors. Teachers are members of the Union of Designers of Russia, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Union of Architects of Russia. They take an active part in exhibitions, conferences, contests, improve their qualification, have their creative workshops, are general and executive directors, leading specialists of the industry companies.
Facilities and resources. Computer classrooms and lecture halls are fitted with multimedia equipment. There are specialized classrooms and project classrooms intended for classes in subjects such as Academic Drawing; Academic Painting; Academic Sculpture and Plastic Modeling.
Education. Project-based learning and practice-oriented training, participation in contests and conferences at different levels, a combination of full-time study with independent work on online platforms, team and group work. Individual learning paths, internships abroad.
Research. Application of fractal geometry in engineering and design, synthesis of sciences and arts in architectural and design activities, BIM technologies, 3D modeling of furniture and equipment in the interior and exterior to be included in projects, adaptation of Russia’s regulatory framework to design projects.
Competitive advantages. Training of professional and competitive specialists in design of residential and public buildings, landscape environment objects, equipment, furniture, finishing components in interiors of premises, and natural and artificial lighting.
Employers and employment. Graduates gain employment in their degree field thanks to their high skills and have good prospects for further development at companies such as North-Western Logistics Company, Artlight, Architectural Systems, Architectural Firm Kondiajn and Partners, Projector Architecture Studio (EKSTO), and others. Some graduates establish their private interior and architectural firms such as Elena Sidorina Design Studio, ZUCCHINI Design Studio – Nikita Zub, Artum Design Studio, and many others.
