Achievements. Every year students win the research contest for personal scholarships from Mayor of Kazan for students and PhD students, special state scholarship of the Republic of Tatarstan as well as the Russian President Scholarship. Students take an active part in implementing grants such as the all-Russian contest of youth projects for implementation of the socially oriented business project “Innovative Focus on Inclusion,” the grant project of Rosmolodezh “The Center of Student Entrepreneurship.”
Teaching staff. Teachers have basic major-related higher professional education and carry out research and academic activities. Around 50 faculty members are engaged in the program delivery. The academic degree holders ratio is more than 85%.
Facilities and resources. All students have continuous access to the electronic library system containing study materials and teaching and learning materials on major subjects. Students have access to the electronic system “Chief Accountant: Check of Contractors.” During practical classes, students regularly use Internet services of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, Consultant, My judge, and Justice.
Education. The program is delivered using state-of-the-art information technologies. Students have access to state-of-the-art professional databases, information reference and search systems. The learning process combines theoretical training with business games, case studies, master classes of experts. The specific features of graduates’ education and activities underlie their forms of practice-oriented training. Traditional elements of continuing practical training for economic security specialists are public lectures of employer organizations’ representatives. The faculty also organizes field classes at economic security departments of commercial banks or enterprises. Educational internships include students’ direct participation in the computer business simulation game “BUSINESS COURSE: Corporation Plus” allowing them to simulate the performance of economic security departments at commercial enterprises in order to maintain economic and financial relations taking into account the arising risks. Work placements are
undertaken at organizations of various forms of incorporation and industry affiliation. Future specialists take part in searches and inspections and other special procedures as attesting witnesses by order of police and Federal Security Service authorities, which allows them to hone their professional skills in practice.

Kazan Linear Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in transport, the Directorate of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the MIA for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tax Crime Combating Department of the MIA for the Republic of Tatarstan, Audit Expert, the Business Economic Security Agency, security departments of commercial banks, district and interdistrict tax offices.
