Achievements and awards. The program has successfully undergone state accreditation. As part of this program the project "Next Generation Social Care Teacher and Educational Psychologist" was supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation, and the students and teachers of the faculty became laureates of the III International contest of students, postgraduate students, Master's students in the Professional Focused Competencies category with the project "Values-Based Life Attitude."

Teaching staff. Training is provided by five PhDs Habil., Full Professors and 27 PhDs, Associate Professors as well as visiting specialists: the Corresponding Member of the RussianAcademy of Education, winners and participants of the all-Russian and regional contest "Educational Psychologist." Numerous achievements of the teaching staff include the awards in the international contest for the best scholarly book in humanities (textbook) in 2014 and 2017. The faculty features two scientific schools: Psychology of Spirituality and I.P.BashkatovSchool.

Facilities and resources. The university has specialized classrooms with the state-of-the-art multimedia equipment, a hardware and software package for testing and developing a person's psychophysiological characteristics.

Research. The most promising research areas include: psychological support for professional and educational activities, psychosocial phenomena of student environment: leadership, spiritual and moral development, volunteering, mentoring; adaptive personality potential and its influence on the success of professional activities, the system of prevention of socially dangerous phenomena in the educational environment, control and management of cognitive processes in the structure of operator performance.

Education. The teachers use state-of-the-art educational models and strategies: problem-based and interactive learning, business games and role plays, workshops, project activities, various types of lectures and seminars, case methods.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the Institute of Psychology of the RussianAcademy of Sciences, the Psychological Institute of the RussianAcademy of Education, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, YerevanStateUniversity, Faculty of Psychology of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria).

International programs and projects. As part of the program, the following international scientific projects are implemented: "Spiritual and Moral Education in the System of Training of State and Municipal Attendees" (Armenia), "Spiritual and Moral Education of Young Students" (Bulgaria, Serbia), "Development of Young People's Social Resilience" (Belarus).
