Awards and achievements. The educational program is ranked among the best educational programs of innovative Russia. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2020. It is listed on the European Register of Accredited Programs. The Department of Advertising and Public Relations is a laureate of the sectoral study "The Ranking of Russian HEIs' Departments that Train Specialists in the Field of Advertising" held by the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR), the winner of The Best Department of NCFU contest in the category of Effective Management of the System of Interaction with Employers. The department traditionally wins in the grant competition held by the Russian Association of Political Consultants, the Committee on Political Technologies of the Russian Association for Public Relations (RAPR) and ICCG Consulting Group for holding the events dedicated to the Day of Political Consultant.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by the highly qualified teaching staff, including Doctors and Candidates of Sciences. Among 13 teachers are one Doctor of Sciences and eight Candidates of Sciences. Researchers from Russia, Bulgaria, France, the USA are also engaged in the teaching process.
Research. The promising research areas are media and advertising discourse; strategic communications; PR and advertising technologies in the system of new media; territory branding technologies; creating a media map of the Stavropol Territory; structuring communication innovations in the socio-political environment.
Education. Teachers use educational and information technologies that ensure expected learning outcomes (IT methods, problem-based learning, case study, and others).
Strategic partners. Institut Europeen d'Enseignement des Relation Publiques (France), Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria), ACAR, Teachers' Association for Public Relations, the Russian Association of Political Consultants, RAPR.
International projects and programs. NCFU students pursue the professional placement program at European universities. They take part in DAAD contests, including the Falling Walls Lab contest for young researchers.
