Awards and achievements. The program underwent state accreditation in 2020.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 11 Doctors of Sciences, Professors, 26 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors, including three visiting foreign professors (Belarus, Slovenia, Tajikistan).
Facilities and resources. State-of-the-art devices for express analysis of composition and properties of food raw material, spectrophotometry, cryoscopy, refractometry, determination of the antioxidant activity of biological objects as well as pilot plants for baro- and electro-membrane fractionation of food raw material.
Research. Basic research and applied R&D are conducted as part of the federal scientific school "Living Systems" under the supervision of the RAS Academician A.G. Khramtsov and Professor I.A. Evdokimov.
Education. The program is supported by relevant classrooms, laboratories, equipment. The scientists and researchers from foreign partner universities, employers' representatives take an active part in educational activities. They deliver problem-based and summarizing lectures, give master classes, hold round table discussions, request the development of themes for graduation theses, are members of state examination boards and internship supervisors.

All-Russian Research Institute of Meat Industry, All-Russian Research Institute of Dairy Industry, Kemerovo State Institute of Food Science and Technology, Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, Belarus Research Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry, Stavropol Dairy Plant, Kazminsky Meat Factory, the Olympia Meat Factory.
International projects and programs. NCFU implements cooperation agreements with the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Belarus State University (Minsk), University of Milan, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy).
Competitive advantages. The results of basic and applied research conducted by NCFU's leading scientific school "Living Systems" are introduced into the educational process. Unique equipment is used in the learning process and research. Students have an opportunity to follow the continuing education path: Bachelor's degree-Master's degree, individual learning paths as part of academic mobility programs.
Assistance and support for international students. Internationalization of the educational and research process is one of NCFU's top priorities and is a strategically important vector of university development. NCFU has the International Cooperation Department.
