Awards and achievements. The program is listed among the best educational programs of innovative Russia in 2017-2018.
Teaching staff. The percentage of scientific degree holders is over 68, including five Professors, Doctors of Sciences, 30 Associate Professors, Candidates of Sciences. Specialists of well-known scientific schools — Institute of North Development Problems and Sovzond Centr, Inc. — are involved in teaching.
Facilities and resources. Eight laboratories fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, several computer classes, lecture rooms with multimedia. A training and research complex: a production well simulator, a training center for the operation of automated control systems based on Siemens S7-300 equipment with physical models of oil production facilities, an electronics laboratory with a Unitron-003 stand, a computer and telecommunication technologies laboratory with stands for network security and corporate computer networks.
Research. Digital models and technologies for controlling oil and gas production processes, intelligent control systems for technological processes in oil and gas production, the use of electrical analogies for modeling heat transfer and hydraulics processes.
Education. Project and practical module learning methods are implemented. Information-communicative and personality-oriented educational technologies are used. During the educational process, state-of-the-art educational methods and technologies are used: game, project and research learning methods, cooperative learning models (group and teamwork).
International projects and programs. The best teachers and students have internships at Valmet Automotive (Finland).
Strategic partners. Gazprom Production Yamburg, Gazprom Production Urengoy, Transneft-Sibir, Antipinskiy Oil Refinery, Gazprom Transgaz Surgut, Valmet Automotive.
