Awards and achievements. Students take an active part in the contest "My Contribution to Grandeur of Russia," in all-Russian congresses for young researchers, the Olympiad "I am a Professional," the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship. They had silver and bronze medals of WorldSkills Russia championships in 2019-2021 in FutureSkills competencies in the Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems category.
Teaching staff has unique knowledge and skills in the transport industry and the development of various complex engineering systems. Over 90% of teachers have academic degrees and scientific expertise relevant to the program.
Facilities and resources. Specialized laboratories with unique hardware and software for system analysis, transport logistics, simulation of transport processes, intelligent transport infrastructure. The laboratory of unmanned aircraft systems of SUAI Engineering School.
Research. Development of optimization models of systems and processes, structural synthesis tasks, systems and processes simulation tasks, decision making under uncertainty tasks, big data management, and systems forecasting.
Education. ICT and distance learning technologies are used, hold business games and student championships are held, research projects followed by developers' team building are implemented.

The Interurban Transport Agency of Saint-Petersburg Transport Committee, Northern Capital Gateway LLC (Pulkovo Airport), the development design office Elektroavtomatika named after P.A. Efimov, Innovative Integrated Systems, Techpribor, SIMETRA Saint Petersburg, AnyLogic Company, AnyLogistics, CTM, Copter Express (COEX) (Moscow), WorldSkills Russia.
International projects and programs. The university implements international exchange as part of First+ programs. Students undertake study placements and participate in summer schools at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland). Students have an opportunity to attend the original project management course of Professor Gerald Cockrell from Indiana State University, USA.
