Achievements and awards. The programs underwent state accreditation in 2020.
The teachers of the department are frequent winners of grants provided by the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
Teaching staff. Training is provided by four Doctors of Sciences, eight Candidates of Sciences. The department employs the representatives of government authorities and business.
Facilities and resources. The university has 17 academic buildings, dormitories, a research library, and gyms. Students can join specialized sports clubs and attend creative studios.
Research. The main research areas include the development of information analysis capabilities of CGE models based on the dynamic interindustry balance; data mining and digital economy; virtual business foresight.
Education. The department trains highly qualified personnel for information business analytics, e-commerce, digital marketing, digital business technologies, IT project management, provision of information analysis support for managerial tasks related to optimization and modeling of business processes as well as for building information systems based on the integration of platforms of Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Performance Management (BPM). Professional retraining is provided in Internet Marketing Communications and Business Process Improvement; Accounting Automation in Business Corporations.
Strategic partners. Kuban State University, Higher School of Economics, Volgograd State Technical University, Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, etc.
International projects and programs. In 2018 the department received financial support from the European Union in the Erasmus + program (Jean Monnet “PROJECT Digital Economy and eEducation: The European Experience”).
Competitive advantages. The teaching staff of the institute and the department is highly qualified; the training program is up-to-date, graduates are in high demand in the labor market (project managers, software sales managers, IT consultants, employees at technical support departments, heads of IT departments).
Assistance and support for foreign students and teachers. Internationalization of the educational and research process is one of NCFU's top priorities and is a strategically important vector of the university development. NCFU established the Department of International Cooperation.
