Achievements and awards. The Industrial and Civil Engineering programs (Bachelor's program and Master's program) in the Construction field of study successfully underwent state accreditation carried out by the National Accreditation Agency in 2018.

Teaching staff. Training is provided by the highly qualified teaching staff including three Doctors of Sciences (one of whom is Advisor of the RussianAcademy of Architecture and Construction Sciences) and 12 Candidates of Sciences (one of whom is Advisor of the RussianAcademy of Architecture and Construction Sciences).

Facilities and resources. The university has state-of-the-art devices for studying and testing building structures and materials and nondestructive gauges for technical inspections of buildings and structures.

Research. The main research areas include the following: development of design and construction solutions for buildings and structures: metallic (in particular, light steel thin-walled structures) and reinforced concrete structures; research on heat and mass transfer phenomenon in timber and wood structures; research and development in the field of new efficient foundations.

Education. The teachers use state-of-the-art interactive teaching methods: visualization lectures, case study lectures, problematic lectures, case technologies, project methods; e-learning.

Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the RussianAcademy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, the International Association of Universities of Civil Engineering, MoscowStateUniversity, OgarevMordoviaStateUniversity, Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, ChuvashStateUniversity named after I.N. Ulyanov.
