Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional and public accreditation carried out by the Council for Professional Qualifications in Agribusiness.
Awards and achievements. Students, PhD students and teachers are prize-winners of the All-Russian best research paper competition for students, PhD students and young researchers from universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in the Veterinary and Sanitary Inspection category, the International intellectual contest for students, PhD students, doctoral students, international research and practice conferences for students. They participate in and speak at the International Veterinary Congress.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 64 Candidates of Sciences, 14 Doctors of Sciences, six Corresponding Members and Academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, laureates of the Government Award in Education and Science, representatives of the real sector of the economy.
Facilities and resources. Modular liquid chromatographs, refractometers, rotary evaporators, fiber analyzers, fat extractors, incubators, thermostats, refrigerators, ovoscopes, millivoltmeters, рН meters, a milk quality analyzer, a luminoscope, a trichinelloscope, a viscometric analyzer, Mojonnier centrifuge, and other equipment.
Research. Parasitology (helminthology and arachnoentomology), hygienization and improvement of technological processes in slaughtering business and meat product manufacturing, prevention of foodborne toxicoinfections and bacterial toxicoses, improvement of slaughtering diagnostics methods for infectious and invasive animal diseases and development of veterinary and sanitary evaluation rules for killing products, search for accelerated and effective meat and meat product research methods.

Employers and employment. Graduates work in the fields of plant and animal origin product monitoring during transportation, veterinary and sanitary inspection of plant and animal origin products and raw materials, monitoring of compliance with veterinary and sanitary regulations during export and import operations. The employers are the Federal Center for Animal Health, the Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory, the Moscow Veterinary Association.
