Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional-public accreditation carried out by the Council for Professional Qualifications in Agribusiness.
Awards and achievements. Students, PhD students and teachers are prize-winners of the All-Russian best research paper contest for students, PhD students and young researchers of universities of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in the Veterinary and Sanitary Inspection category, the International intellectual contest for students, PhD students, doctoral students, and international research and practice conferences for students. They participate in and speak at the International Veterinary Congress.
Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 15 Candidates of Sciences, seven Doctors of Sciences, one Corresponding Member and Academician of the RAS and the RANS, one laureate of the National Award in Education and Science.
Facilities and resources. Analytical balance, a рН meter-millivoltmeter, air sterilizers, thermostats, distillers, homogenizers, photocolorimeters, dosimeters, trichinelloscopes, anaerobic incubators, a spectrometer unit, a wet combustion device, a microwave muffle furnace, a microbiological safety cabinet, and other equipment. Education. Research, independent analytics, a competency-based approach.
Research. Development of accelerated methods of determination of toxicogenic microflora in meat and meat products and their detoxification modes, studying the veterinary and sanitary characteristics of intoxicated meat or meat containing pesticide residues and development of theoretically substantiated sanitary assessment of killing products, studying the effect of biologically active substances and antioxidants on quality indicators of farm animal and poultry meat, veterinary and sanitary inspection of wild game meat in mono- and mixed invasions, veterinary and sanitary inspection of meat of wild ungulate animals and pinnipedians.

Employers and employment. Graduates work in the fields of research, plant and animal origin product monitoring during transportation, veterinary and sanitary inspection of products and raw materials of plant and animal origin, monitoring of compliance with veterinary and sanitary regulations during export and import operations. The employers are the Federal Center for Animal Health, the Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory, the Moscow Veterinary Association.
