Free English-taught course “How to enroll in a Russian university

  • The course will familiarize international applicants with the system of admission to Russian universities. It will provide information on all the important steps applicants must take, such as submission of an application form and admission documents, taking exams, getting a visa, and arrival in Russia. Applicants will be able to get detailed information on what and in what order they must do and who they should contact if they have any questions or problems
  • The course will help arrange all the admission information and present it in a format that is simple and understandable to international applicants

Pre-Courses Department Programs

  • To pursue the programs, students are not required to have basic knowledge of Russian. They acquire Russian at a level required by Russian universities as well as gain new competencies in one of the chosen study areas.
  • Russian language, language for science, and three major subjects are compulsory subjects to study as part of the course. A set of subjects is developed based on the chosen study area.
  • After students successfully complete the program, they can enroll in general education programs offered by the university.

Preparation of Foreign Citizens for Admission to NR TSU (2,338 hours)

Program duration: October 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026

Application deadline: September 25, 2025

Tuition fee: 235,000 RUB (advanced payment is 117,500 RUB)

Preparation of foreign citizens for admission to NR TSU with an adaptation course (2,498 hours)

Students additionally take an adaptation course with in-depth study of phonetics.

Mechatronics and Robotics

Major: Industrial and Special Robotics

Duration: 5 years (4+1)

Mechatronics and robotics is a high-tech area for the development of science and technology integrating precision mechanics and electronics, physics and informatics. Today the program is pursued by students from many countries (the CIS countries, China, Zimbabwe, Ecuador, and others).

  • Programming languages for modern industrial controllers and microcontrollers

Mechatronics and robotics is a profession of the present and the future. Graduates are in demand in many industries where more and more work is performed by automated mechanisms.

Graduates find jobs in high-tech industries, including development and creation of robots, automated systems and unmanned technologies. Graduates can work as design engineers, robotics engineers, setup operators of automated equipment and programming specialists working in mechanical engineering, medicine, aerospace engineering, and other industries.
