Rostov-on-Don is an international city

Admission

You have two ways to enroll at Rostov State University of Economics. Both ways require education.

Way 1

Get the Russian Government scholarship

1. Register and submit your application at the competition website education-in-russia.com. In your application, specify Rostov State University of Economics as your desired place of study
2. The academic year in Russia starts on September 1. Submit a competitive application for the Russian Government Scholarship a year before the start of the academic year (the competition lasts 4+ months on average)
3. Pass the competition successfully with the participation of the Russian Embassy in your country and get the right to study in Russia for free

Way 2

Apply by yourself on a contract basis

1. Choose a study program, contact us at our email address and send:

• a copy of your academic credentials with a transcript and its translation into Russian
• a copy of your passport translated into Russian

2. We will consult you on all steps for admission and arrival in Russia

3. Before you start your Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD program, take a one-year (nine-month) Russian language course at the university’ Preparatory Department. More about admission to the Preparatory Department

4. After you complete your Russian language course, take an entrance exam or exams (for which you will have been prepared at the Preparatory Department), conclude the study contract and embark on your degree program

Admission information in Russian and English

Preparatory Department

International students start studying in Russia with the Preparatory Department offering a special Russian language study program for foreign citizens who want to get a higher education in Russia later.

Duration – 9 months (October-June).

Tuition fee – 120,000 RUB

The program also includes Mathematics and History classes and preparation for the entrance exams at the university.
