PRAVDIN, Nikolay Nikolaevich
Programme presentation. The objective of the Programme is training highly qualified specialists in the field of creation of innovative materials and techniques for modern branches of science and technologies: industry of nanostructured materials, lighting technology, optoelectronics, high temperature and electronic equipment, industry of com-position materials for building construction, steel and nonferrous industry, chemical and oil-refinery industry. The Programme’s students acquire professional competencies, which are sufficient and necessary for solving tasks of the innovative development of the Russian economy and guarantying high employability, rapid adaptation in competitive environment, possibility of further continuous education.
The process of training master students is implemented according to the system of requirements and competencies, developed by the Office of Education of the State Corporation RUSNANO (the Programme is included into RUSNANO educational register). Specialists of the innovative company “Virial”, which is included in RUSNANO structure, participate in the educational process. Master students conduct research activity with the help of research and production facilities of partner organizations. International cooperation includes internship of master students in Fraunhofer Institute (
Teaching staff. Leading Russian scientists, who combine academic activity and research work in the framework of priority trends of developing industry of contemporary materials and technologies, participate in Programme: two correspondent members of the Russian Academy of Science, an academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, three honored workers of science and engineering of The Russian Federation, three honored workers of high school of the Russian Federation.
Interaction with employers. The Institute has implemented the concept of inter-relationship of education, science and industry (the Prize of St. Petersburg government for prominent achievements in the field of higher professional education in the category “Integration ofˇ education, science and industry”). The major partners of the programme are: “Borovichi Refractories Plant”, “Magnezit”, “Imperial Porcelain Manufactury”, “Girikond”, “Giprocement”, “Magneton Factory”, “IzhorskiyeZavody”, “Severstal”.
