Awards and achievements. The Higher School of Air Navigation acts as an innovative site for approbation and implementation of the newest methods of organizing and carrying out the educational process, cutting-edge educational technologies, developing and implementing practice-oriented, competitive master's degree programs that are highly demanded in the field, integration of theoretical study with practical training.
Teaching staff. The educational process is carried out by scientific degree holders with great professional experience, as well as highly qualified specialists of air transport companies.
Facilities and resources. The university has a modern technical and methodical foundation that provides for theoretical and practical training of the specialists and aviation staff in accordance with international standards. The facilities of partner companies are available for theoretical and practical classes as well.
Strategic partners. The educational program is carried out in cooperation with the following companies: Pulkovo Airport, Rossiya Airlines, All-Russian Research Institute of Radio Equipment, and others.
Achievements of students and graduates. During the educational process, the students carry out research in the following fields: transport management systems for various purposes, problems of flight operation, ergonomic, informational and methodological flight support of professional training of special civil aviation specialists, air traffic control and navigation in civil aviation, resource management of operators to ensure reliability and safety of systems in civil aviation, problematic issues of the theory of risk assessment and management and flight safety, economic problems of transport systems management, fundamental problems of fluid mechanics and mass and heat transfer of dynamic and aerodynamic phenomena in civil aviation, etc.
The students are awarded numerous diplomas and certificates for active research, as well as certificates of international scientific conferences. Master's degree students have an opportunity to have practice at the partner companies, take part in annual scientific research conferences.
