Awards and achievements. A high level of institute graduates’ competence has often been highly appreciated by the Ministry of Culture of the RF, the Union of Designers, and the Union of Architects of Russia. The institute receives letters of appreciation from the President of the Union of Architects of Saint Petersburg, Director General of the Koltushi Construction Company, Director General of the Architectural Systems company, Executive Director of the North-Western Logistics Company.
Teaching staff. Specialists are trained by Professors and Associate Professors. Teachers are members of the Union of Designers, the Union of Artists, the Union of Architects of Russia. They actively participate in exhibitions, conferences, contests, improve their qualification, have their creative workshops.
Facilities and resources. Computer classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with multimedia. There are specialized classrooms for academic drawing, academic painting, academic sculpture and plastic modeling, as well as project classrooms.
Research. Application of fractal geometry in architectural engineering and design, synthesis of sciences and arts in architectural engineering and design, BIM technologies, 3D modeling of furniture and equipment in the interior and exterior to be included in designs; adaptation of the RF regulatory framework to space and interior designs.
Strategic partners. The Committee for Architecture and Urban Development, the Committee for Science and Higher Education of the SPb Government, the Union of Architects of Russia (exhibitions and discussions of student works, joint seminars). Personal creative workshops such as Zemtsov, Kondiajn and Partners, Studio 44, Architectural Systems, the Projector architecture studio (ECSTO LLC), etc.
International projects and programs. Students participate in creativity competitions at Higher School of Kaiserslautern (Germany), South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Kouvola, Finland), the Estonian Academy of Arts (Tallinn).
Competitive advantages. Every year students win prizes in the contest for the award of the Saint Petersburg Government for the development of graduation projects by order of executive authorities of Saint Petersburg, all-Russian design contests (AV Interior, Modulor, Architectural Image of Russia), the All-Russian scientific conference of young scientists “Youth Science Innovations,” the contests held by employers such as Vodokanal of St. Petersburg, North-Western Logistics Company, Sberbank of Russia, European Business Consulting Oy (Kotka, Finland), creative unions.
