Achievements. This educational program underwent professional-public accreditation (Certificate № 034/19 of December 20, 2019).
Teaching staff. The academic degree holders ratio is 67.4%. Practitioners are also engaged in the teaching process.
Facilities and resources. The university has state-of-the-art facilities and resources and laboratory equipment (multifunctional devices for measurements in ventilation systems, analyzers, meteorological meters, microscopes, spectrophotometers, etc.). Classrooms are equipped with training simulators, sets of tests and case problems related to practical classes.
Research is conducted in the following area: comprehensive evaluation of influence of the living environment and labor conditions on public health: hygienic evaluation of population health risk of chemical substances contained in surface watercourses of rural agro-industrial areas of the Saratov Region; hygienic peculiarities of labor conditions and their influence on health of women engaged in present-day production of paper wallpaper; prediction of infantile cerebral paralysis (ICP) development taking into account anthropogenic factors of atmospheric air pollution.
Education. The teachers widely use state-of-the-art educational models and technologies: the educational portal, electronic educational systems, electronic educational resources, business games.
Strategic partners. The university cooperates with the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Saratov Region, Saratov Research Institute of Rural Hygiene, Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology №156 of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, Russian Research Anti-Plague Institute "Microbe", Samara State Medical University.
International projects and programs. The university participates in staff and student exchange with Belarusian State Medical University and West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov State Medical University.
