Teaching staff. The program is delivered by highly qualified teaching staff holding Doctor’s and Candidate’s degrees in Sociological Sciences.

The faculty cooperates with the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg State University, Siberian Federal University, Gorno-Altai State University, HEIs of the Altai Territory and universities abroad including East Kazakhstan State University (Kazakhstan), etc. Teachers involved in the program delivery regularly enhance their competencies at the leading universities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Omsk, and other educational centers. Students undergo internships abroad in Austria, China, Germany, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
Alumni’s achievements. The faculty’s prominent alumni include L.G. Lisitsina, Expert of the Russian Children in Need Fund (Moscow), N.V. Oskina, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Altai Territory, Head of the Social Policy Department; D.A. Nevaeva, Chief Specialist of the Research and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory.
Facilities and resources. Altai State University has adequate facilities to provide all kinds of practical, discipline-specific, interdisciplinary training and research work of students. The program is delivered in well-equipped multimedia and specialized classrooms. Non-resident students are accommodated at four dormitories included into the university campus. All the university buildings and dormitories offer Wi-Fi internet access.
Opportunities for students. Continuous enhancement and implementation of new educational technologies and practice-oriented approach are the most important characteristics of the program.
