Programme presentation. Education of specialists in the field of maintenance of transport radio equipment has been performed by the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation since 1973. Today the University trains professionals in the specialty “Maintenance of Radio and Electronic Equipment of Aircrafts and Airports”.

The Programme’s graduates deal with servicing, maintenance and repairing of radio and electronic equipment of aircrafts and airports. The specialists are required by airline companies all across the Russian Federation. In 2013 the Programme successfully passed the procedure of state accreditation.

The University trains specialists for foreign countries, continues work on implementing the project “International Master of Aviation”, carries out postgraduate and doctoral training.

Teaching staff. The highest level of education is provided by highly-qualified and experienced teaching staff. The Faculty’s research schools are internationally recognized. The Faculty’s major research field is optimizing operation processes of radio-electronic hardware in civil aviation. The Faculty in cooperation with researchers and employees of experimental design offices and research institutions has develop industrial and inter-industrial methodological documents, experimental systems of automated control of air-craft hardware.

Competitiveness of students. Graduates of the Programme are demanded and have good prospects of advancement. They can swiftly master new up-to-date technologies, domestic and foreign aircraft equipment. Graduates of the Programme are employable not only in civil aviation but also in research organizations, educational institutions, and industrial enterprises.

Academic and working practice is conducted at the University’s air-technical training facility (Sheremetyevo airport), plants and companies of the aircraft industry. The University signed agreements on targeted enrollment for enterprises and companies of civil aviation, which are located in different regions of the Russian Federation and abroad.

The Programme’s graduates work in international airports “Sheremetyevo”, “Domodedovo”, “Vnukovo”; in airline companies – “Aeroflot-Russian Airlines”, “S7 Airlines”, “Transaero” and others; Moscow Air Traffic Control Centre, design bureau “Lira” and other companies of radio industry.
