Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent state accreditation in 2018 and professional-public accreditation in 2020. Every year future Bachelors participate in Olympiads, repeatedly winning prizes in the individual and team event, take an active part in the department's research, publish their research findings and speak at research and technology conferences. This experience allows them to successfully pursue Master's and PhD degrees.
Teaching staff. Highly qualified specialists, Doctors and Candidates of Sciences, research fellows at research institutes and specialized organizations with unique knowledge, skills and experience in the development of hardware, algorithms and software for bioengineering systems, in biomechanical modeling, research.
Facilities and resources. To develop and consolidate practical skills in the development of hardware, algorithms and software for bioengineering systems, students use technical resources of specialized laboratories equipped with a set of control and measuring equipment, special multichannel signal recording complexes, rapid prototyping benches, and special software.
Research. Location and movement monitoring systems, in particular, for individual motor units; modeling of human movement and movement of individual organs in the normal conditions, in pathologies, and in prosthetics.
Education. The university trains specialists such as developers of medical devices, their blocks and nodes, software; engineers for management and technical support of medical equipment stock for healthcare organizations; medical equipment maintenance and repair specialists.
Strategic partners. Institute of Experimental Medicine, H. Turner National Medical Research Center for Children’s Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, Russian Institute for Power Radioengineering, etc.
International projects and programs. Teachers and students take an active part in international research and technology conferences, research contests, and grant programs.
