Awards and achievements. The programs underwent state accreditation and professional-public accreditation. Every year students get scholarships from the Russian President and Government, win grants and the best student paper competitions. The English-taught program in Embedded Systems enrolls international students studying in joint international groups.

Teaching staff. 70% of teachers have academic degrees and titles, 95% carry out profession-oriented research, academic and practical activities, 27% are heads of employees of specialized organizations. The teaching staff includes five Honored Workers of Higher Professional Education of the RF and two laureates of the Russian President Award. Teachers win international contests, grants from the RFBR, the RSF, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Facilities and resources. State-of-the-art flight and driving simulators, 5D cinema, Elbrus computer systems, high-end servers, equipment from Siemens, Koyo, Mitsubishi Electric, Automation Direct, ICP DAS, and OVEN, resources of the major research Institute of High Technology Computer and Network Technologies: benches for embedded systems, specialized software Cadence and IBM.

Research. Noiseless coding theory, multimedia data processing technologies, quasi-orthogonal information conversion theory, technologies of virtual, augmented and mixed realities, open-cycle systems, multisensor systems of identification, embedded systems, image processing systems, neural networks, high-performance systems and networks, systems and networks-on-a-chip, protocols.

Education. Teachers use modern international methods of practice-oriented training СDIO. Master's programs are taught in Russian or English using a project-based approach.

Strategic partners. Industrial partners: Concern Granit-Electron, Russian Railways, Concern Morinformsistema-Agat, Severnaya Verf Shipyard, Rostelecom, Yandex, Gazprom, Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, JSC Academician M.F.
