Awards and achievements. The program successfully underwent professional-public accreditation carried out by the Leningrad Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2020. Every year students get scholarships from the Saint Petersburg Government. The writing teams have two Saint Petersburg Government Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Higher Education.

Teaching staff. 85% of teachers have academic degrees and titles. Training is provided by 12 Doctors of Physical and Mathematical, Engineering, Economic, and Pedagogical Sciences. The Department of Innovative Design, Development of Entrepreneurship and Information Science established at the Leninets holding company is of great help in improving the quality of student training.

Facilities and resources. Laboratory practicals are done in seven specialized display rooms, each having 15 workstations. Independent study and instruction of students are supported by the Moodle learning management system.

Research. Intensive research on the development of the logical and probabilistic theory of risk in complex systems at all stages of their life cycle. Research on the industrial development of the economy, application of information technologies in the implementation of economic solutions, artificial intelligence and big data processing, the fusion of heterogeneous information in multisensor systems.

Education. Teachers use subject-oriented technologies in combination with comprehensive practical training. The highly qualified academic staff with a good H-Index score and a great number of research publications indexed in Scopus and WoS databases carry out research supervision of Master's programs.

Strategic partners. St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Leninets, Electromera Research Institute, Concern Granit-Electron, Radar mms, Spektr Research Institute of Computer Facilities, Institute of New Industrial Development named after S.Y. Vitte.

International projects and programs. The university has cooperation agreements with Neapolis University of Pafos (Cyprus) and Rezekne University (Latvia) as part of Erasmus+. Intensive research is conducted jointly with specialists from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), Ben-Gurion University (Israel), Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland).
