Accreditation. State accreditation. Professional-public accreditation. International accreditation carried out by ASIIN that proves compliance with the high international quality standards.

Awards and achievements. The program is delivered as part of SUAI’s federal innovation platform. Every year students get increased scholarships, the Russian President and the Russian Government Scholarships, their research is supported by numerous grants. Students traditionally win the contests for the best student papers.

Teaching staff. The educational process involves 27 people, including four Professors and 11 Associate Professors. Teachers work in Russian and international projects with the real industry, regularly win international contests, get international and Russian grants.
At least 5% of SUAI’s teaching staff in the teaching process are heads or employees of other organizations involved in labor activities in the professional sphere relevant to the professional activities the graduates prepare for.

Facilities and resources. The student environment for implementing projects and specialized high-technology equipment, benches for embedded systems, specialized software Cadence and IBM, high-end servers, oscillographs and professional equipment for PC board assembly.

Education. Modern international methods of practice-oriented training СDIO are used. Depending on the chosen major, students can study in Russian or English.

Research. The promising research areas are systems and networks on-a-chip, embedded systems, computer networks, telecommunications, networking standards, industrial data processing and control systems, high-performance parallel data processing systems, digital image and signal processing.

Competitive advantages. Students have an opportunity to pursue the double degree program with Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées IPSA (Toulouse, Paris). They also have an opportunity to undertake internships in Europe, Asia, and the USA. The department supports students’ participation in international conferences, hackathons and contests. Students can take part in reseach projects with IT companies and top Russian aerospace companies at the department’s research unit – Institute of High-Performance Computer and Network Technologies. Graduates are well trained in data processing technologies and embedded systems. They are in high demand in various fields of research, production and administration.
