Accreditation. State accreditation certificate № 3001 of February 27, 2019.

Admission requirements for foreign citizens. International applicants apply on equal terms with Russian citizens.

Education. Students undergo practice-oriented training, implement projects and conduct research, and undertake work placements at IT companies. The department’s major disciplines were developed in cooperation with IT companies such as Cisco, I20, and others.
SSUGT has the International Center for Education that provides pre-university training for foreign citizens and prepares foreign citizens for admission to PhD and doctoral studies. The Center teaches Russian as a foreign language with subsequent testing and issuance of
standard certificates. To enroll in the educational program or at the Preparatory Department at the university, applicants must send their application specifying the preferred mode and duration of study, passport copy and the completed application form to the e-mail address of the International Center for Education (mo.center@ssga.ru).

Scholarships and grants. Students get government-funded scholarships.

Research and projects. Starting from the first year, students are engaged in research on information technologies and programming, artificial intelligence systems, robotics and implement their achievements as part of grants and target programs with the opportunity to
have their papers published both in Russian and foreign editions.

Competitive advantages. A combination of classical education with a practice-oriented approach based on the application of state-of-the-art technologies in professional activities. Starting from the first year, students participate in real projects of specialized IT companies with subsequent employment opportunities.

Employers and employment. 100% of graduates can be employed in their degree field. Graduates work for government agencies and commercial organizations, research centers and educational institutions. Among the employer enterprises are Gazprom, Rostelecom,
Sberbank, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, Siberian Networks, I20, and others.
