Accreditation. State accreditation certificate: series 90А01 №0003565, Reg. №3349 of March 13, 2020 valid till March 13, 2026.

Awards and achievements. The Linguistics program is listed annually among the best educational programs of Russia. The State University of Humanities and Social Studies is ranked among the Top 100 universities according to RAEX, among “The Best Universities of Russia” and is listed on the National Register of “Leading Educational Institutions of Russia.”

Teaching staff. More than 90% of the academic staff in the program delivery hold academic degrees and/or academic titles with 91% of them awarded Candidates of Philological/Pedagogical Sciences and 9% awarded Doctors of Science. All the teachers have international certificates confirming their language proficiency at Levels C1-C2.

Facilities and resources. The university has all of the facilities, resources and laboratories necessary for efficient delivery of the educational program and students’ recreational activities. Students have access to federal learning resources.

Education. There is a strong relationship between the scientific, theoretical and practical training of future graduates. The introduction of innovative methods and technologies in educational activities ensures a high level of professional competence and creates opportunities for both personal development and the basis for career development in the future.

Research. Teacher and students are actively engaged in studying the scientific issue of “Interaction between languages and cultures in the translation environment,” regularly publish research papers in journals recommended by the State Commission for Academic
Degrees and Titles of the Russian Federation and WoS. Graduates can continue their education by pursuing the Master’s program in Linguistics and then a PhD program in
Germanic Languages.

Competitive advantages. The university cooperates with prospective employers who are representatives of the top translation agencies and industrial enterprises in the Moscow Region. The faculty has also concluded a partnership agreement with “First Language
Service Provider” which is the top-ranking translation company in the Moscow Region. This company maintains research and methodological cooperation with top Russian universities including Moscow State University, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Moscow State Linguistic University; the embassies of China and France, and the National Association of Teachers of English (NATE) Russia.

Employers and employment. Graduates are employed by major enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow Region, governmental organizations and international companies as translators and interpreters, personal assistants, PR specialists, managers in various fields.
