Accreditation. State accreditation.
Awards and achievements. The program has been recognized as the best educational program of innovative Russia since 2014. Students are laureates of the International research paper contest, annual participants of the World through the Eyes of a Doctor project. The university implements the regional medical and social project on early diagnosis and prevention of visible malignancies in elderly people staying at social service institutions in the Sverdlovsk Region. Teaching staff. The program is delivered by 13 teachers. Over 70% hold an academic degree, and 12% of them are Doctors of Sciences. The leading healthcare specialists of Yekaterinburg are engaged in the teaching process. Facilities and resources. Computer classrooms with modern software and multimedia equipment. The classrooms are also located at the clinical facilities of healthcare providers of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Education. Distance learning technologies (the learning platform Microsoft Teams, the virtual learning environment Moodle) are used in the educational process. Practice-oriented training and project-based learning, participation in Olympiads, contests and conferences. Gaming, project and research methods of teaching, distance learning technologies, simulation technologies.
Research is conducted to benefit applied medicine in cooperation with the institutions and universities in the Urals region. Partners: the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, Sverdlovsk Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, the Palliative Care Center, and other institutions. Teachers participate in international conferences, study current issues in theory and methodology of professional training in the field of higher nursing education, development of methodological support for students’ educational internship.
Competitive advantages. The program allows students to get a higher education following an individual learning path within a shorter period based on secondary vocational education. Graduates can pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health.
Employers and employment. All graduates are employed. Many years’ cooperation with the healthcare institutions in the Sverdlovsk Region opens up the opportunities for students to find a job in their degree field.
